Changes to the Pirates League

The Pirate's League has made some cutbacks...they only offer two packages now. Both are $29.99....no more of the huge package that was $129 and the packages they offer now were originally $50 when the Pirates League opened.

Captain Jack & his trusted mates have searched across the land to find treasures & new recruits to join their crew. In The Pirates League, savvy Pirates will Transform boys and girls and give them their own Pirate look and name, Train them to swash buckle, Teach them the official Pirate League Oath, and Prepare them for their very own Parade of Pirates! The Pirates League is an interactive Pirate experience you won't want to miss!

It's a Pirate's Life for You!

Ahoy, mateys! Begin your piratical transformation when you receive your Official Pirate Name as recorded from the leather-bound captain's log. Next, stop by the Muster Station and leave your old self behind as the Pirate Masters perform a marauder's makeover. Hear the ways of the scurvy sea dogs as they apply yer buccaneer beard, scars, earrings and eye patches. Or even be ye a boney pirate and wear your skeleton on yer skin!

Once you have fully transformed, enter the Secret Room where your Pirate Portrait is taken for posterity and the Pirate Masters reveal their hidden treasure.

The Pirates League offers 2 packages to choose from at $29.95 plus tax - "The First Mate" or "Empress". All packages include:

Make Your Reservations

The Pirates League is accepting reservations when you call (407) WDW-CREW (939-2739). Theme park admission required. Open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The last reservations will be taken at 3:30pm. Costume selection and sizing may vary. No discounts apply unless otherwise noted. Guests must be at least 3 years of age. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to arrival. A valid accepted credit card number is required at time of booking. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to such credit card for all no-shows or if reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of experience. Children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older during the entire experience. Subject to restrictions. All prices, package components and information are subject to change without notice. Pirate Parade-weather permitting.

Mickey and Minnie's houses are going to be demolished. Toon Town is scheduled to go away in September..... I am so sad. I remember when my daughters actually really believed M&M lived in those houses. I hate to see them go....other little kids need the opportunity to believe.

New Pool for Saratoga Springs Resort? Not sure...but rumor is that the 1,100 square ft. pool in the Paddock section of the Saratoga Springs Resort will be replaced with a new 3,300 square ft. zero-depth-entry feature pool complete with a 146 ft. slide, 1600 square ft. wet play area, 11,000 square ft. deck area and a new quick serve dining location.

Opening in 2011, this will be a welcome addition to a section of the resort which is quite a distance from the resort's current feature pool.

New Manatee!

This week, the team welcomed to The Seas rescued manatee, Jasper, who weighs 632 pounds and is 6-foot-8-inches long.
The team expects Jasper to be released back into the wild in about a year, after he has gained weight and received medical care for cold stress.
Guests can see Jasper (right in above photo) and resident manatee, Lou, when they visit Epcot.
