Well.....after the yummy dinner at Narcoossees, we all went back to our rooms to get ready and packed to depart the next day. Sad

We tried to get as much together as we could so packing up the next morning wouldn't take much time. We had PLANS! Goodvibes

BD was on a quest for a Buzz costume in a certain size....and I needed a furry Eeyore fleece jacket in a certain size for DD....and we realized we hadn't shopped much during our trip at all....needed to hit Summer Lace and Basin and more shops in the MK. So it was another late night throwing stuff together.

The server had boxed up the ginormous cake..there was more than half left and we took it up to our room.....turned out that cake wouldn't fit in our fridge Rotfl

..we had to turn it sideways. But it worked!

I knew I'd have to ship my laundry home. Smile

Soooo...it was my first experience doing this with the business center. I (with help - thanks BD and M) carried my stuff down to the business center - I could have called bell services for help but I didn't want to wait for them...and M and BD graciously offered to help schlep.....so we headed down there. The walk with the stuff was the worst part.....out thru the lobby.....out the main entrance....past all the people coming and going....past the bus stop... Rotfl2

After that it was easy. Smile

They selected the perfect size boxes....packed and taped everything except the queen cake top - which I wanted to send to K's house....and they didn't want to be responsible for that making it or not....but M helped me bubble wrap the whole thing and tape it and as it turned out it made it!!! Goodvibes

I shipped 2 large boxes to IL and one to MA and the shipping for the three boxes was about $39....the business center's charges added up to about $16. I chose Fed Ex ground because the difference between that and the next up was HIDEOUS!!! One one box the charge was $11 ground...vs $63 ....so that was that. Icon12

Now I had room to cram more purchases into a bag. Rotfl2

We had requested a late check out - and noon was granted to us. That worked out great. BD brought her bags down to RAC and the rest of us left our luggage in the room while we ran our last minute shopping errands. While shopping, we discovered the great AP discount at many stores....it varried from 10% to 20%...and was even valid on the Disney Dooneys.... Rolleye11

AND in Fantasia a nice CM told us this discount has quietly been extended into March....AND that if you have a Disney Visa, you can stack that 10% savings onto the AP discount. WOW. We quick called our pal S who was shopping elsewhere and let her know this info.....she ran into hassles trying to use this stacked discount, though. Angry

The CMs really need to get their info straight and be kept updated so there is not this inconsistency.

Some Sunday morning MK pics....it was a cool gray drizzly day...that's the only thing that made leaving easier. And the MK was pretty crowded....

We shopped at CR...but then thought we didn't have time to stop at the Poly, too...what if the monorails broke again? Rotfl

So...we skipped the Poly and just went directly back to the GF to shop. Icon12

After we all ran around and bought last minute souvies we met up again in the room, crammed our purchases into our bags and had them brought down....the limo was coming at 130 ish to bring us back to MCO.... Sad02

They took abotu 15 minutes to come on up.....brought the stuff down...and we headed to the lounge for last minute coffee and chatting......but FIRST...we dropped off the cake for the concierge CMs...it was too good to waste. Boy I'd love a slice of it about now..... Rotfl

it was time to head down to catch our limo to MCO....We were all sad & sorry to leave......Jackie with Southern Elegance Limousines was out front waiting for us....THEY ARE THE BEST LIMO COMPANY EVER IMO....we've used them for years....I get nothing for saying this...I'm just happy to let people know - they are terrific. Before we found them we had used some real losers. Undecided

Our luggage come over quickly...and we said our goodbyes to D and KM - they were staying one more night.....and the four of us were off....heading to MCO..... Sad02

We dropped BD off at Delta....and then the rest of us got dropped at SWA....we all curbside checked our bags... M had to run ahead...security lines were fairly long *as usual* and she had an earlier flight than S and I had. So after security, S and I met up with M to say our final goodbyes....watched M board her flight home Sad

....and then we found a place to hang out til our flight. We called BD and made sure she was doing OK...she was thru security and just waiting at the gate like we were....so that was that. Another wonderful fun trip comes to an end. We are all already looking forward to our next get together in 2011...if not before! Icon12

Believe it or not this was one the best trips i ever had. How amazing to meet friends for the first time....and to get along so well...and to laugh so much. We miss you all alot. We just enjoyed ourselves so much and we cannot wait to see you all again, have a drink and laugh.

By the way , Chan i love the views from your room BUT i didnt realize you guys had the parking lot view. Rotfl

haha...yah...we got the room without utilities...AND the parking lot view. Rotfl

Channing what a nice trip report. I just want to add like so many others did...what fun I had, and what a nice group of people you all are. Such great personalities ...so much humor..We couldnt have asked for a better group. Im so looking forward to next year, and cant wait to see everyone again.
